Ratlam: River are overflowing to torrential rains in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. As such, water has reached over the culverts of the routes passing through these river drains and these routes have become risky, causing huge traffic problems to the people. People are risking their lives to cross the culvert. On Friday, a young man got overflowing in the water while crossing the culvert.

Even after years of urging the villagers to approach the people's representatives and the administration, the lack of culverts on these routes has forced people to risk their lives. At times, people lose their lives. One such case has come to light from the Bamman Khedi route of Javara. While 1 person was swept away in the water while sliding from the drain to the culvert, the fellow youth informed the police that the young man was being searched far away in the nallah, but at present there is no clue about the young man who was swept away in the current.

On the other hand, the water of the Maleni river on the Machun route is flowing over the sliding culvert, but villagers and children are all seen crossing this risky route. The locals say that he has already communicated his fate sits with the MP and the MLA, but after all, no one has paid any heed to his problems and is forced to cross the culvert by risking his life.
