Officials of the India Meteorological Department said that the weather in the national capital will remain pleasant due to extremely light rain on Monday, or winds of 25 km per hour with drizzle. Torrential rain is expected in some parts of southwest Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours.

At present, many states including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka are facing floods. There is a low-pressure area in Western MP and adjoining Rajasthan. Apart from this, the trough is running from coastal parts of Tamil Nadu to Comorin. Due to this, the forecast for Basrat has been released in the potential areas.
