According to the Telangana State Planning Development Society (TSPDS), due to the pressure formed over the North-West Bay of Bengal, North Odisha-West Bengal coasts, Hyderabad will receive rain for the next two days, while some districts will receive heavy rains in the next two days. As a low pressure over east central and adjoining northeast Bay of Bengal is expected to move northwestwards.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for some districts including Adilabad, Mahabubabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mulugu, Nizamabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtyal, Nirmal and Peddapalli, which are likely to receive light to moderate rains in the coming days. On Monday, Kumram Bheem's Kagaznagar received heavy rainfall of 79.3 mm, while Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Jagityal and Vikarabad received 46.5 mm of rain.

The maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 30 degree Celsius. Some areas like Patancheru, Ramachandrapuram, Kutubullapur, Kukatpally and Gandhipet received 4.5 mm of rain in the afternoon.
