Fear of violence after Friday prayer, heavy force deployed

New Delhi: The situation is normal in the North East district of Delhi after the riots, but on Friday, 30 companies of Delhi Police and Paramilitary Force have been deployed in the first riot-affected parts of Jumme prayers. Delhi Police has also conducted a flag march in the riot-affected areas. Along with this, peace has also been appealed to the people of the area through the Aman Committee.

Additional Joint Commissioners of Police (CP) and 4 Deputy Commissioners of Police Commissioners (DCP) are keeping a close watch for the violence in the riot-affected areas of North East district. At the same time, on Thursday, the Delhi Police had told the press conference that so far more than 700 FIRs have been registered in Delhi violence and more FIRs will be registered.

Along with this, the police said that if anyone wants to register a complaint, then they have to go to the DCP office of North East Delhi and file a complaint. Police said in its press conference that more than 200 people have been arrested in different cases related to Delhi violence. Also, the police has assured that no action will be taken against any innocent. Police said that progress has been made in three cases of Delhi violence and four bodies have been found from the drain so far.
