Shimla: Heavy snowfall has increased people's problems from Kashmir to Himachal Pradesh. While the snowfall is increasing the number of tourists on the mountains, on one hand, heavy snowfall has disturbed the life in many areas. In the heavy snowfall in Kashmir, about 4 feet of snow has accumulated on the roads. Thousands of trees were uprooted and hundreds of houses were damaged.

Electricity supply has been disrupted in many areas in Srinagar. The Srinagar-Jammu highway is also affected due to snowfall and avalanche, people are stuck in the roads. In 48 hours, 7 people lost their lives due to snowfall. Apple orchards have suffered a lot. The fruit trade has suffered about 100 crores. Restoration of electricity has become the biggest problem for the government in many areas of the valley including Srinagar.

In fact, several thousand trees have been uprooted in the Kashmir Valley, including big trees of poplar. Those who have damaged the electrical cables. In such a situation, the power infrastructure has also suffered a lot. Whose restoration work is going on fast. Along with Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh has also received tremendous snowfall. Due to heavy snowfall in Rohtang Pass and Lahaul Spiti, public life has become busy. Traffic on the Manali Leh road has been stopped at Rohtang Pass. Lahaul Spiti has been cut off from the road.
