Dehradun: Kedarnath, the country's most prominent temple, was already opened to devotees, but air services will start from today i.e. Friday. Indeed, Heli had not yet received approval from DGCA to restore the service but has now got permission from DGCA. Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has completed all preparations.
UCADAÂ CEO Swati Bhadauria has said that the Heli service for Kedarnath will start operating from October 1 from Guptakashi, Phata and Sirsi helipads. Devasthanam Management Board CEO Ravinath Raman has said that e-passes will also be issued by registering devotees visiting Kedarnath from Heli Seva. On the other hand, the Collector has directed that if a passenger does not reach on schedule, a pass will be issued to another registered passenger in his place. All arrangements have been made at all the three helipads for the same.
On the other hand, even if you are going to Kedarnath from Heli Seva, all devotees will have to follow the Corona Protocol completely. After inspecting the helipads, DGCA has also been allowed to operate Heli services. Booking of tickets for Heli service has also started on the website.
