Protesting on the streets of Kabul, on Sunday, the Hemland peace team reached the 'United Nations Assistance Mission for Afghanistan' (UNAMA) in Shar-e-Naw.
In next session of their march, the Hemland peace team is intending to host a three-day sit-in protest in the UNAMA campus.

According to the Tolo News, the team had initially arranged a sit-in protest in the Lashkargah city after the incident of a suicide bombing outside a stadium.
Previously, the Hemland team members gave Taliban three days to provide a reply on their demands including, a ceasefire for an entire month. While the Taliban hasn't yet responded to the protester's appeal.

On June 23, the Hemland group declared that they would commence their sit-in protest from June 24 and also informed that their first stop would be the UNAMA compound.

As quoted by the Tolo News, Bismillah Watandost asserted, "We will spend three days in front of each embassy. During these three days, we will try to launch demonstrations in those countries that we are protesting against. By holding our demonstrations, we want to create a relationship between our people and the citizens of those countries; and we hope the citizens of the foreign countries ask their governments why Afghans are protesting outside their embassies."
