Henry Cavill has responded to a handful of new James Bond rumours. The Witcher actor, 38, told media, that whether the rumours are true or not will have to wait. "Time will tell," he said, adding that "everything is on the table at all moments."

Cavill revealed that the producer may consider someone younger than him for the part of James Bond. "Perhaps they'll go younger," he speculated, "just as they were thinking about doing with me when it came down to me and Daniel." When asked if he had seen James Bond: No Time To Die, Cavill admitted that he hadn't yet.

Cavill also expressed his excitement at the prospect of playing James Bond if given the opportunity. "It's all up in the air at this point. We'll have to wait and see what happens. But sure, I'd love to play Bond; it would be a thrilling experience " actor said.

Even while Daniel Craig was still a member of the franchise, fans often asked Henry Cavill whether he would take on the role of James Bond. In a 2020 interview with GQ, the actor claimed that if he is offered the job, he will accept it immediately. "I would certainly leap at the chance if Barbara [Broccoli] and Mike [Michael G. Wilson] were interested," Cavil earlier stated.
