New Delhi: The Pulsar P150 was introduced by Bajaj in India at a price of Rs. 1,16,755 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and placed between the Pulsar N160 and Pulsar 150 in the lineup.

The Pulsar P150 is powered by an air-cooled, 149cc single-cylinder engine that produces 14.5hp at 8,500rpm and 13.5Nm at 6,000rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission.

This engine uses a 2-valve architecture and also has a kick starter, which doesn't make it the most refined engine on the market. The P150 packs a 14-litre fuel tank and when fully fueled weighs 140 kg, which is 10 kg less than the current Pulsar 150 variant. Ground clearance is 165mm, and the seat height of 790mm is easily accessible.

A monoshock and a 31 mm telescopic fork are responsible for the suspension. A 260mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc (which becomes a 130mm drum on the single disc variant) are in charge of braking duties. Single-channel ABS is also included.

Two models of the Pulsar P150 are available: single seat and split seat. While the split seat variant comes with rear disc brake and clip-on handlebar, the single seat variant gets more basic
Underpinnings in the form of a rear drum brake and single-piece handlebar.

The single disc variant gets front and rear tires at 80/100-17 and 100/90-17 respectively, while the twin disc variant gets front and rear tires at 90/90-17 and 110/90-17 respectively. ,

The P150 gets some new features even though it is sold as the more affordable model in the famous Pulsar line-up. To begin with, it gets the same semi-digital "Infinity" instrument console as the Pulsar N160, which features a range indicator and shows gear position.

There is a full-LED projector headlight with LED daytime running lamps and LED taillight. The presence of a USB charging port is another useful feature.

The single disc version of the Pulsar P150 is priced at Rs 1,16,755, while the dual disc model costs Rs 1,19,757. (All prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The five colors available are the same for both the variants.
