Dheeraj Dhoopar is married to  Vinnie Dhoopar. The reel-life Karan first met his real life Preeta on the sets of the serial 'Heaven at the Feet of Parents'. This show was done on air in the year 2009. Dheeraj Dhoopar fell in love with Vinnie Dhoopar the moment he saw her on the sets of his show. At first sight, these two stars fell in love with each other. However, both of them did not tell the thing to each other for a long time. Dheeraj Dhoopar and Vinnie Dhoopar became best friends while working on the sets of the show. After this the love of Dheeraj Dhoopar and Vinnie Dhoopar started.

‘Dheeraj made his television debut with the role of Ansh in the Colors TV serial Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swaarg. He played the role of Bhavesh Patel in Star Plus serial Behenein, Sushant in Mrs. Tendulkar, and Shikhar in Zindagi Kahe Smile Please. He then played the role of Prem Bharadwaj opposite Deepika Kakkar in Colors TV’s popular serial Sasural Simar Ka. After that from 2017-2022, he played the role of Karan Luthra in Zee TV’s popular show Kundali Bhagya. In the same year, he appeared in Colors TV’s new serial Sherdil Shergill   in the role of Rajkumar Yadav opposite Surbhi Chandra.
