Everyone is done with the preparations and has already planned that how will they celebrate 1 January. The upcoming weekend is going to be fun and full of memories. isn't it??

Well, if we talk about the New Year that held at Worldwide level then not every country celebrates it on the Jan 1. The date is somewhere between the year.

  • China- Their New Year date usually between Jan 21 to Feb 21. In 2017, it is on 28 Jan.

  • Jewish- It is two day celebration which is on the seventh month according to the Hebrew Calendar.

  • Islamic- First day of Muharram is celebrated as their New Year. On this day, special prayers are done in Mosques.

  • Thai- It occurs between 13-15 April and it is also known as Songkran.

  • Ethiopian- It is also called Enkutatash which is held between 11 to 12 September.

  • In USA, UK , Italy and France the New Year is celebrated on Jan 1 and they even have National Holiday on this day.
