As soon as listening to Goa's name, sea, beach, lots of foreigners, and fun-enjoyment all come to our mind. Due to its Natural Beauty Goa has become the most preferred choice for foreign tourists along with the country as well. But did you know that this kingdom of India was once occupied by Portugal? Even after India's independence in 1947, the Portuguese had been occupied here.

They had occupied it for 14 years. Andon December 19, 1961, Goa was liberated from the Portuguese. In Goa, 60% of the population is Hindu and about 28% of the population is Christian. Even today, how far Goa has changed since the old times.
