Recently, the conversation on Twitter  Kargil war veteran Major DP Singh left the Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and emotional. The actor replied to a tweet that he claimed gave him goosebumps.

Major DP Singh who is known to be India's first blade runner took to the micro-blogging platform and tweeted to the 54-year-old actor, informing him that his 1999 movie Sarfarosh was the last movie before he lost his leg in the war during Operation Vijay. Ever since his leg was amputated, he has been using a prosthetic leg.

The retired Indian Army officer tweeted, "Exactly 20 years ago I watched movie #Sarfarosh of @aamir_khan and same I did just now. But That time it was in theater. Now on TV. That time on both legs. Now one less. My last movie as intact before I joined unit for #OpVijay in May 1999. #memories." 

To this, an overwhelmed Aamir replied, "Dear @MajDPSingh, your post gave me goosebumps. We salute your courage, strength and grit in the face of Love and respect to you, Sir. a."

Replying to Aamir's response further, Major DP Singh said, "My dear @aamir_khan It could become possible as I was trained by @adgpi  I am no great.. it's a trait of every #indianarmy #Soldier Thank you for your kind words. Keep making inspirational films. God bless Jai hind."

On the work front, Aamir Khan would next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, the Bollywood remake of Tom Hanks' multiple Academy Award-winning 1994 American comedy-drama film Forrest Gump.
