Khargone: The situation in the Khargone town of Madhya Pradesh is rapidly returning to normal. The police and administration were extra vigilant during the Hanuman Janmotsav on Saturday. The temples were closed. In the morning, people had darshan from outside the temples as they were exempted from the curfew for two hours. The officers kept touring the area. There are also reports of relaxation from 3 to 5 pm during the day.

Let me tell you that since the violence on April 10 Ram Navami in Khargone, the top police officials have been camping in Khargone. There is a constant vigil. On Friday also, Jumma prayers and good Friday prayers were offered from homes. A decision was taken to keep the temples closed today on the occasion of Hanuman Janmasotsav. No temple is open. Curfew was relaxed between 10 am and 12 noon. Due to this, the devotees had darshan from outside the temples. The administration is keeping a constant watch. The team also visited the city and got to know the movements of the people. Let us know that for 3 days, the district administration has been giving 2-2 hours of relaxation during the curfew. Due to this, people come out of their homes to buy the necessary goods. A markdown can also be given between 3 and 5 pm on Saturday.

The same District Magistrate Anugraha P. said that the relaxation was peaceful. The situation was still normal today. Curfew was relaxed by 2 hours from 10 to 12 noon. The District Magistrate said that no religious place will be opened at present. Other religiopolitical processions are banned in the district. Puja-Bhandara can be performed at other places except for the district headquarters. Citizens will be able to open electric repairing shops, confectionery and namkeen shops, sweets and namkeen shops besides essential commodities, vegetables, fruits, milk, groceries and medical items. The district magistrate has ordered that no more than 5 or 5 citizens will stand and gather at places other than shops. Following rumours of stone-pelting in Anand Nagar, the administration has now taken a tough stand. SP Rohit Kashwani said that strict action will be taken against those who send the post elsewhere, including the person or admin concerned, on rumours and objectionable posts on social media.
