The recent release of Dharma production is a big blow to the flop of the multi-brand film 'Kalank'. Karan Johar's production house had a lot of expectations from it, but the film failed to stand up to his expectations.
Let me tell you that during an interview recently, Karan has said a few things about the failure of the 'Kalank' and how he dealt with it. He has also taken responsibility for its failure. "I and my director Abhishek Varman sat down and talked about where the mistake was," said Karan. I have to connect with every film that Dharma will take in films because I am not just a producer, I am a creative producer. '
Further, Karan has claimed responsibility for the film's poor performance, saying, "When Kalank failed, I failed too. I am old, sensible and I know more about what will go on and what not. It is my responsibility if the film does not go away."
He further says, "I think I knew about the material in it for not one but 15 years, and it was a film that was close to my heart and perhaps that is why I lost the impartiality somewhere."
Let's say that the film, which released on April 17 this year, had seen actors like Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Varun Dhawan.
