On May 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were blessed with a baby boy. It was later revealed that they had named their son, Prince Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. However, a day before giving birth to her firstborn, Meghan Markle had sent an apology letter to her high school classmates in LA, California. Actually, the Duchess of Sussex was originally supposed to be in LA on that day, but for obvious reasons, she couldn’t.

The handwritten apology letter to her was sent because she wasn’t able to attend her high school reunion. For those unaware, while Meghan went to an all-girls Catholic school in Los Angeles, she graduated from Immaculate Heart High School in 1999, according to the UK-based publication.

A friend of Meghan told the publication that her classmates were really looking forward to meeting the Duchess of Sussex in person after years. However, they were left disappointed when they learned that she wouldn’t be able to attend. However, when they heard that she had given birth to the world’s first British-American Royal, they couldn’t be happier for her.

She is remembered as someone who is very thoughtful, and to get that kind of attention now that she is a Royal went down really well,” the friend added. Meanwhile, the friend also disclosed to the publication that her classmates are now looking forward to the 25th reunion and want Meghan to bring along her son Prince Archie and husband Prince Harry to the function.
