On Tuesday, the country's renowned bicycle manufacturer Hero Cycles together with Yamaha Motor Company launched the Lectro EHX20, adding a new cycle of Lectro e-cycle series. In its statement, the company said that the Lectro EHX20 is a high-performance e-bicycle powered by Yamaha.
These bicycles are primarily for the metro city markets and are concentrated for the high-income group, who are spending on healthy lifestyles and physical fitness. The Hero Cycle scheme is to add more models in the 'Lectro E-Cycle' operated by Yamaha. Also, a multi-channel retail strategy is being adopted to reach customers through its own sales network, multi-brand stores and online sales channels.

Sharing its statement with everyone, the company said that the Lectro EHX20 is the result of a strategic partnership between Hero Cycles, Yamaha Motor Company and Mitsui & Co. The alliance formed by Mitsui & Co. aims to create technically superior high-performance products between Hero Cycles and Yamaha Motor Electric Drive Units, with sales, distribution and marketing support by Mitsui & Co.
This is the first e-bicycle. which is operated by the Center Motor Automatic Part. This bike can cover a distance of 60-70 km by a full charge in 3.5 hours. It gets power from triple sensor technology of torque, speed and crank. The e-cycle provides high sharp pedaling response/assist and better power support.

According to media reports, Pankaj M Munjal, chairman and MD of Hero Motors Company HMC, said that this is the first branded e-cycle that runs from Center Motor. This e-bicycle provides high-performance experience. Hiroyuki Ota, executive officer of Yamaha Motor, said that the electric vehicle segment / e-bicycle in India has received relief from the government in recent times. It is important that a large range of products has been made keeping in mind the different needs of the producer customers.
