Glamor 125 BS6 of India's leading automobile manufacturer Hero was recently launched in Hero World 2020 held in February. In the Indian market, this motorcycle has a direct competition with the Honda SP 125, which is the first Japanese brand to meet BS6 standards. This motorcycle is an updated model of the discontinued CB Shine SP. So today we are going to compete both these bikes in our report. Let's know in full detail

When we start with the engine, the Hero Glamor 125 BS6 has a 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates power of 10.87PS at 7500rpm and 10.6Nm of torque at 6000rpm. At the same time, the Honda SP 125 is powered by a 124cc air-cooled fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that generates power of 10.87PS at 7500rpm and 10.9Nm of torque at 6000rpm. The engines of both the motorcycles are equipped with a 5-speed gearbox.

For your information, please tell that the engine output of both the motorcycles is very similar. However, the SP 125 weighs 5 kg less than the Glamor 125 BS6. Hero has given i3S (Idol Stop Start System) in this bike which proves to be better technology in delivering mileage. At the same time, Honda has claimed that its CB Shine SP gives about 16 percent more mileage than the old BS4 variants.
