GURUGRAM: As part of a program to improve police mobility so that they can better protect women and combat crime, Hero MotoCorp has given a fleet of 50 motorcycles and 10 scooters to the local police department.

On Friday, Gurugram Police Commissioner Kala Ramachandran welcomed two-wheelers at the commissionerate. “We are grateful to Hero MotoCorp for this support, which will increase the visibility and effectiveness of our local authorities.

“The motorcycles will be used by them for active patrolling in their respective areas and there will be a significant increase in the safety of people in general, especially women.

 According to Ramachandran, it will also be necessary to make emergency services accessible in traffic-related situations.
