Recently the news of leaked specification before the launch of Hero's bike, Hero MotoCorp unveiled its first BS6 two-wheeler Splendor iSmart in June. However, the company did not give any information about the technical specifications of the bike. Now a document of BS6 Hero Splendor iSmart has leaked online, which has revealed some information about this bike. However, the launch date of BS6 Splendor is still not revealed.

It is to be noted that the documents leaked online also make it clear that BS6 Splendor iSmart will be available in two variants. These will have a drum and another front disc brake variant. This bike can be launched by the end of this month. It is believed that its price maybe 10-15% more than the current BS4 model. Right now the starting price of this bike is Rs 56,280. According to the leaked document, the BS6 Splendor iSmart will get a 113.2cc engine, which is of higher capacity than the current model.

The Splendor currently has a 109.15cc engine. Fuel-injected technology has also been given in the new Splendor engine. The special thing is that despite increasing the engine capacity, its power will be less than the current model. The power of the current model of Splendor iSmart is 9.5hp, while the BS6 model will get power of 9.1hp.

It is the first company in the country to get BS6 certification in BS certification from the International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) for this bike in June. With this, it became the first two-wheeler company in the country to get the BS6 certificate. The BS6 Splendor iSmart has been designed and developed at CIT (Center of Innovation and Technology), a company based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, at the Richters and Development Hub. Explain that BS6 emission norms will be implemented from April 2020.
