Locust outbreaks continue in India's neighboring country of Pakistan. From Pakistan this organism is migrating directly towards the states of India. At the same time, there is a new swarm of locusts moving towards the eastern states and returning with monsoon winds. Now their herd will be doubled, which will be enough to cause havoc. The Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), an international organization that monitors grasshoppers, has issued a high alert about the growing threat in India. According to him, the next four weeks will be very fatal.

For the first time in the last 26 years, the locust attack has lasted very long, the locust attack continued for a long time. At the same time, the Indian government has taken effective steps to eradicate grasshoppers, in which for the first time, instruments like drones and helicopters are being used here. Use of state-of-the-art sprayer technology has been started. Rajasthan has become the worst affected state in the country. While other affected states are Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Bihar.

In the high alert issued by the FAO, it said that a new contingent of locusts has been ready within the Pakistani border this season. This team is constantly moving towards the eastern regions. Their attack can be very fast in the northern states of India. A swarm of locusts has been prepared from the eggs that had migrated towards the eastern states. Now, due to the gusts of monsoon eastern winds, the grasshoppers can once again reach destruction in the northern states.
