Srinagar: PM Narendra Modi has convened an all party meeting on Thursday (June 24, 2021) on the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This is a major political initiative of the Central Government after the removal of Section 370. All parties and Congress involved in the Gupkar gang in Jammu and Kashmir have agreed to join it. The Congress has also said that it would have been better if its agenda had been together with the invitation of the meeting.

According to media reports, more than a dozen political parties, their representatives have been invited by the Central Government to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, a 48-hour high alert has been sounded in Jammu and Kashmir for security forces in view of terrorist activities. Internet services may also be discontinued here on Thursday. Jammu and Kashmir BJP unit president Ravinder Raina and party leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta are said to have left Jammu for Delhi to attend the all party meeting.

Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has also reached Delhi to attend the all party meeting. Jammu and Kashmir Will also attend a meeting on June 24 at PM Modi's residence.
