High Court dismissed non-bailable warrant against Jaya Prada

Rampur: High court has rejected the non-bailable warrant issued against film actress and former MP Jayaprada. Cases were filed against BJP leader Jayaprada for violation of the code of conduct during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, on which the police filed a charge sheet without recording a statement.

The code of conduct was not found to be found to have been violated in the above cases during re-deliberation in the case. But due to the court taking the case into consideration, non-bailable warrants were issued against Jayaprada by Rampur Special Judge (MP / MLA) Court-6 in both the cases. Those which have been cancelled by the High Court.

On April 20, 2019, a case was filed against BJP candidate and former MP Jayaprada for violating the Election Code of Conduct in village Piplia Mishra under the police station Camry during the Rampur Lok Sabha elections. A case was also registered for inaugurating the road on 22 April 2019 in village Noorpur of Police Station Swar, violating the code of conduct. In both cases, the violation of the Rules of Election Code of Conduct was not found to be in re-deliberation.
