Lucknow: Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra, has been granted bail by the High Court in the Lakhimpur violence case. The Lucknow bench of the High Court has granted bail to Ashish Mishra. The hearing on this issue had already been completed. The court has now granted bail to Ashish Mishra while delivering the verdict. It is being told that Ashish Mishra may come out of jail by tomorrow. 

The Uttar Pradesh SIT had recently filed a chargesheet in the Lakhimpur violence case. In the 5,000-page chargesheet, the SIT had named Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra, as the main accused. Not only this, according to the SIT, Ashish was present on the spot. The SIT, in its probe, had confirmed that Ashish Mishra was fired upon in the Lakhimpur violence. Ashish Mishra's revolver and rifle were also fired.

The SIT, in its charge sheet, said that Ashish Mishra and Ankit Das' licensee weapon had opened fire. While Ashish Mishra had said that there was no fire from his weapons for a year. Police confirmed the shooting on the basis of ballistic reports.
