Basna: Under Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme, the High Court has ordered a ban on the employment assistant recruitment process in the district panchayat Basna. According to the information received, the elder petitioner resident Mongra Sahu had submitted the writ petition through the High Court advocate Sunil Sahu. In this case, the High Court has issued an order to ban the recruitment of the current employment assistant appointment and submit the answer within 6 weeks.

On January 25, an order was made by Pankaj Dev, Chief Executive Officer of Basna Janpad Panchayat. This order said that the advertisement was issued on 25 January 2019, but due to the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct and the recruitment process being pending for one year, this advertisement is canceled with effect.

Mongra has informed that the claim-objection and merit list was also made in the earlier advertisement. Only the official seal was left for the appointment. Now, in the same gram panchayats of Basna Janpad Panchayat, a petition has been filed in the High Court Bilaspur on the publication of advertisement for employment assistant recruitment.
