Kanchenjunga : The third highest peak in the world, the majestic Kanchenjunga, also spelt Kangchenjunga, is one of the most stunning mountains. Surrounded by Nepal, Sikkim and Tibet, Mt Kanchenjunga was first scaled in 1955 but since then has been declared sacred. Kanchenjunga' is a Tibetan name which means 'The Five Treasures of the High Snow'. The treasures represent the five repositories of God, namely gold, silver, gems, grain and holy books. There are a lot of trekking routes in and around Kanchenjunga which will take you through woody forests and serene countryside. Kangchenjunga Mountain near Darjeeling is the third highest peak in the world, with a peak elevation of 8,586 m. In the Kirat religion of Sikkim, the mountain is regarded very sacred and in the local Limbu language, it is also called Sewa Lungma. Out of the five peaks of Kanchenjunga, four can be viewed from many points in Darjeeling and Gangtok.

Nanda Devi :  Nanda Devi is the 2nd highest mountain peak in India and overall 23rd in the world. It stands as tall as 7,816 m above the sea level. This mountain peak is clearly visible from Mukteswar and tourists visiting Mukteswar must have a clear look at this mesmerizing beauty. Mukteshwar is a picturesque town and hill station located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated at an altitude of around 2,285 meters (7,497 feet) above sea level. Mukteshwar is known for its breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks and lush green valleys.

The town is named after the Mukteshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Trishul Peak : The three Himalayan mountain peaks of western Kumaun as a whole form the Trishul peak. Having a height of 7120m, the Trishul group forms the southwest corner of the ring of peaks that enclose Nanda Devi Sanctuary. In 1907, the main peak - Trisul I - became the first peak over 7,000m to have ever been climbed by someone. The peak can be best viewed from Kausani or during the Roopkund Trek. The region surrounding Trishul Peak offers excellent trekking opportunities. The Trishul Base Camp trek is a popular route for adventure enthusiasts, offering stunning views of the Trishul Peak and its neighboring peaks. Trishul Peak is a challenging destination for mountaineers, and climbing it requires proper technical skills and experience. It has been a significant mountaineering objective for many climbers over the years.

Gorichen Peak  :  Is the highest peak of Arunachal Pradesh and it is located between Tawang and West Kameng districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Situated at an altitude of 22,500 feet above sea level, this peak is roughly 164 kilometre from Tawang. The peak is locally known as Sa-Nga Phu, which literally means the Kingdom of Deity and is considered to be one of the sacred peaks protecting them from all the evils according to the local Monpa tribe. This peak is a great trekking and mountaineering spot. Gorichen Peak offers excellent opportunities for trekkers and experienced mountaineers. The region around the peak provides stunning landscapes, with snow-clad mountains, glaciers, alpine meadows, and pristine valleys. The area around Gorichen Peak is relatively remote and requires careful planning and arrangements. Due to its location near the border with China, visitors need to acquire Inner Line Permits to travel to this region.

Friendship Peak  : One of the trekkable summits in the Indian Himalayan region, the Friendship Peak looming at an elevation of 5,289 meters in the Pir Panjal range in Himachal Pradesh is a trekker's heaven. From the summit, you can feast his eyes on the panoramic view of the Pir Panjal range and on the vicinity which is crowned with silver horizon formed by the Dhauladhar and Great Himalayan ranges. The Friendship Peak trek passes through the beautiful Solang Valley that houses several alpine meadows, thick forest dotted with varied species of alpine trees, colourful orchards and crisscrossed by numerous small and gushing streams. Moreover, the journey drives you crazy once you reach a certain altitude, with steep climbs over the thick bed of snow and walking over glaciated tracks and narrow ridges.
