Bangalore: The hijab has once again started in Karnataka. Even after the Karnataka High Court's order to wear a dress in classes, the girl students in Mangalore University are insisting on coming to the college wearing hijab. On Saturday too, she reached the college wearing a hijab, but when she was asked to take off the hijab to enter the classroom, she refused. Then they went back home.  

It is worth mentioning that earlier on Thursday, some girl students had also protested against the college administration for not wearing the hijab. Amid the uproar, state CM Basavaraj Bommai and Education Minister BC Nagesh said that the court has already given a verdict in the matter. Only dresses will be allowed in classes. Let us know that assembly elections are scheduled in Karnataka by the end of this year and there is a commotion in the state over the Malali temple mosque dispute and now once again the wearing of hijab in classrooms.  

The hijab issue once again came to light in the state on Thursday when a group of Muslim girl students from Mangalore's University College boycotted classes and staged a protest on the campus. Some Muslim girl students had reached the classes wearing scarf on their heads. On Saturday, some of the girls, wearing hijabs, reached the college, but principal Anusuya Rai did not give them entry inside. After this, they went to the library, but they were not allowed to enter. Then they went back.
