The Karnataka High Court has given an important decision on Muslim girls wearing hijab in schools and colleges. Let us tell you that the court has dismissed the petition in the hijab dispute. In fact, the court said that hijab is not a part of religion. Nor is wearing hijab compulsory in Islam. Therefore, students cannot refuse to wear school uniforms. Let us tell you that after the High Court's decision on the Hijab controversy, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said, 'We respect the High Court's decision. Education is essential for the students. Everyone should follow the orders of the High Court. Keep the peace.'

With this, after the High Court's decision on Hijab, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said, 'I welcome the court's decision. I appeal to everyone that the state and the country have to move forward. Everyone has to maintain peace by obeying the HC order. The student's job is to study. Study bypassing Hindu-Muslim casteism. Do not create any kind of controversy. This is what we say that students should concentrate on their studies.

Let us tell you that in response to the first question here, the court said, 'Hijab is not an integral part of Islam. In response to the second question, the Karnataka High Court said that it is okay to compel the school to wear uniforms, the students cannot protest. With this, let us also inform you that the hijab controversy started in the schools and colleges of Karnataka at the end of December last year.
