Hollywood actress Hilary Duff is soon going to bring her favorite character of Lizzie McGeeer back to the big screen in the reboot series. Sources said that the show will be aired on Disney Plus, which will be launched internationally on November 12.
It was announced at Disney's Ultimate Fan Event D23 Expo on Friday. "Lizzie has grown up now, she has become wiser," Duff said on stage. In the meantime, she added, "She has a job of her dreams and she is now working as an intern for a fancy New York City decorator, her life is now going fine".
The actress has further stated that although the lead character of the series has grown, her problems and circumstances are still the same and she is trying to run her life right through all the challenges, complications and struggles. We'd also like to tell you that, along with Duff, original producer Terry Minsky has also been included in a live-action scripted comedy show and aired for two seasons on Disney Channel from 2001 to 2004.
