Waste to energy plant has been prepared in Kufri for about three and a half crores to solve the problem. There is a plan to make methane and CNG gas from horse waste and waste in this plant. The methane gas will be transported from the pipeline to Kufri's hotels. There are plans to operate golf carts with CNG gas. Waste to energy plant is to be set up on PPP mode. The company with which the MoU has been signed has prepared and built its plant in Jaipur. There is snow in Kufri, the place where the plant is proposed to be set up. Therefore, after melting the snow, the plant will be set up and tested by April. The head of Kufri Panchayat, Anjana Chauhan told that there is a plan to set up a plant on the way from Kufri market to ChiniBangla.

Plants set up for environmental protection: When it was discussed, DC Rana, Director of the Department of Environmental Science and Technology, said that the West to Energy plant is being set up in Kufri for a permanent solution to the horse dung problem. .
