Mandi: A variety of incidents take place day in and day out in the country. Meanwhile, another shocking incident is being reported in which a car fell into Beas river four miles away from Mandi city on Chandigarh-Manali National Highway.
The same police received its report this morning after which the police team reached the spot. Only a few documents have been found when the car was searched. While no one has been recovered from the car. The car is said to be from a Haryana resident whose number is HR 42G 7007. Police contacted the car owner and found that one of his relatives had taken the car. It is yet to be ascertained whether at least one person was present in the car, or there were other people with him is yet to be ascertained.
SDM Sadar Ritika Jindal herself reached the spot after receiving the same accident report. She also said that divers have been called in to carry out search operations in the water. Only after the search operation will it be known whether someone has fallen into the water or not. She said the police and the administration are working together to investigate the cause of the accident. It is yet to be ascertained how many people were on board.
