Shimla: Himachal Pradesh has got great success in the Corona period. Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur claims that Himachal Pradesh has become the first such state in the country where LPG gas connection is present in every house. CM Jairam Thakur said this while discussing the beneficiaries of Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojana during video conferencing from Shimla.
CM Jairam Thakur further said, 'Cooking on an earthen stove is very painful, it also affects the health of women'. Along with this, the environment is also damaged due to the cutting of millions of trees for fuel. He has further said that keeping this in mind, PM Narendra Modi launched his PM Ujjwala Yajna. This scheme has benefited about 1 lakh 36 thousand families in the state.
While talking on Corona, CM Jayaram said that the global epidemic coronavirus has changed the way we interact. He has instructed people to keep an eye on the home quarantined people from outside the state. So that quarantine rules are not violated. In Himachal Pradesh, the total corona cases so far are more than 1 thousand.
