Shimla: The lumpy skin disease in animals has reached Himachal Pradesh from Punjab. In fact, due to this disease, many animals have died in Shimla and Solan districts so far. Let us tell you that so far 11 animals have died in Shimla and Solan districts. At the same time, 207 animals are infected. Let us tell you that its epic centre has been found in Shimla, chaly village, where 1 cow was brought from Punjab. At the same time, this cow brought from Punjab died of this disease and after that, this virus went to another animal. After Chaly, the matter has come to light in the Thadi panchayat adjoining Shoghi, a suburb of Shimla. Here, one cow has died in Pawar village. After this, the animals are being vaccinated in the affected area and panchayat. It is being said that this virus is mainly infecting more milk-giving, small and old animals and the animals whose immunity is weak are coming under its grip.

At the same time, in Thadi Panchayat, adjoining Shobhagi, the suburb of Shimla, where the symptoms of this virus have been seen, about 50 animals have died of mouth-hoof disease a few years ago. At the same time, at that time also, the animals were vaccinated at the panchayat level and it could be controlled after months.

What is the lumpy virus- let us tell you that due to the lustful skin disease i.e. the lumpy virus, lumps are formed in the body of animals. This causes the animals to get a fever and reduce their weight. At the same time, the animals die due to not getting treatment at the right time. Let us tell you that this virus goes from mosquitoes, flies, lice and fleas to other animals and if this virus occurs, it is advised to isolate the animals from other animals. However, this disease does not come to people from animals, nor does drinking the milk of infected animals cause any kind of harm.
