Shimla: The administration is all concerned about the increasing cases of corona in the country. Meanwhile, when some people were prevented from offering prayers together due to corona rules, they carried out the assault. According to media reports, the incident took place last Saturday at a mosque in Devinagar under Panwata Sahib in Himachal Pradesh.

Abdul Alim resident Ward No.9 has lodged a complaint with the police station in this regard. Complainant Abdul said "He has been overseeing the Medina Mosque for the past five years. Nowadays, the month of Ramadan is going on. In such a situation, he goes every day to look after the mosque. He had gone to offer prayers at the mosque around 8 pm on Saturday. But there were already 20 to 30 people from the locality who had come to offer prayers. Abdul refused to offer prayers to more than five people simultaneously under guidelines on corona".

Abdul and the people who came to the mosque started talking about it. Some of the people present beat him with sticks and sticks and injured him. In the meantime, when their son Abdul Habij came to their rescue, they also hit him with sticks and injured him. Abdul and his son are undergoing treatment at the hospital. DSP Bir Bahadur said that police have registered a case and are investigating.
