Army truck plunged into deep gorge, One soldier killed and three injured

Shimla: The capital of Himachal Pradesh has been hit by a major tragedy in Shimla. The army truck fell into a 100-meter deep gorge near Kufri, killing an army jawan. Three other jawans are said to be injured in the incident. After the incident, the injured jawans were admitted to IGMC Hospital in Shimla for treatment. With the help of locals, the army pulled out the injured jawans from the truck.

The army truck was on its way from Ambala to Jhakhri. However, the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. The incident took place recently in Chauhatan town of Barmer district of Rajasthan. In which the country lost three Airforce personnel. Three other jawans were injured. Following the incident, the injured jawans, including Air Force personnel, were evacuated from the mountainous area and sent to hospital for treatment.

According to information, the Air Force truck was coming down from the Chauhatan hilltop, during which the damaged road caused the truck to go unchecked and fell into a deep gorge 100 meters below.
