Renowned entertainment actress Himani Shivpuri is celebrating her birthday today. Himani Shivpuri has distinguished herself from films as well as television serials. Her name is among the legendary actresses. She has won the hearts of the people with her tremendous acting. Himani Shivpuri was born on October 24, 1960, in Dehradun. She is the daughter of popular writer Dr Haribhatt Shailesh. From the very beginning, she was mourning acting. She studied in Dehradun but later joined the National School of Drama. She started her career in theatre. She then made her entry into the industry with the film 'Ab Aayega Maza.'

Himani says that "I remember meeting Salman Khan on the sets of the film itself. There was a brief introduction to the cast and crew. However, Salman had arrived shortly before the scene due to which the opportunity of introduction was not given. Something like we were shooting and Salman called Chachi Jaan and suddenly picked me up in a lap. This surprised me as it was not part of the script. Shockingly, it was our first meeting. But then I broke the silence and there was an atmosphere of laughter.''
