In the year 2018, the film Parmanu was released. In this film, Himanshi was supposed to play the role of John's wife, but Himanshi could not say yes.
In a conversation with a website, Himanshi Khurana said, "She did not find the offer right." Recently she said, "I left John Abraham's film Parmanu. When I got the offer of the film, I was in Delhi at that time. I was to play John Abraham's wife. Many wanted me to accept that role, but I could not believe it." With this, she said, "There is no fault of the makers in this, but they tried to convince me a lot. But I refused. I was wondering why someone would offer someone who is from Punjab? I was very confused at that time, then I refused. But later I came to know that the offer was genuine.''
John Abraham's film Parannu: The Story of Pokhran was released in the year 2018. The story of this film was based on India's nuclear test in Pokhran. Apart from John Abraham, Diana Penty and Boman Irani were seen in the film.
