Himesh Reshammiya was born on July 23, 1973, in the house of Gujarati music director Vipin Reshammiya.
Himesh Reshammiya lost his elder brother at the age of 11. After this, he decided that he would make a career in the world of music so that he could fulfil his brother's wish. Himesh Reshammiya started his career by producing tv shows. He had composed the title tracks of several television shows. In Bollywood, he started his career with actor Salman Khan's superhit film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya.
Then, he composed music for Salman's songs of Bandhan, Hello brother, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge and Tere Naam. As a singer, Himesh Reshammiya got his real identity from Emraan Hashmi, Sonu Sood and Tanushree Dutta's film Aashiq Banaya Aapne. The audience loved the songs of the film more than its story. Then Himesh Reshammiya also made a splash with the album Tera Suroor. He is the first Indian artist to perform at Wembley Stadium in London. Along with the songs, Himesh Reshammiya has also tried his hand at acting. He started his career as an actor in the year 2007 with the film Aapka Suroor.
