There were reports making the rounds that Hina Khan has been finalised to play the main antagonist Komolika in the reboot version of Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Bigg Boss 11 contestant Hina Khan in an interaction with News 18 revealed that these are just rumours. She stated, "There is nothing like that now. I have not signed any project just yet. I talked to them. But nothing has been signed yet. I can not say anything about this now."

Ekta Kapoor earlier announced about Kasautii Zindagii Kay by posting on Instagram saying, "With a piece of my broken heart I wrote in 2001 ...17 years later I ‘ reboot’ it dipping it in personal pain and lacing it with experiences of an older me! Bringing back my most successful love saga that ran for 9 years!!! Again I’ll take my broken heart n make it into art!!! #namestobeannounced #waitfortheannouncement"

According to a source, Hina being a part of the daily soap said that the talks have reached an advanced stage and the makers are keen on roping in the actor for the part. she is expected to sign on the dotted line soon.
