Ramgarh: The Ramgarh police in Jharkhand have arrested a man named Arju Mansuri for allegedly forcing her to befriend a girl from another religion and attacking her with a knife. A case has been registered at Ramgarh police station on the statement of the girl. Criminal Arju Mansoori has a long criminal history. On January 14, Arju's brother Arman Khan also killed the mother of a three-year-old girl. Arju had also threatened to kill Mamta's elder sister Jaya. In this case, Arju was arrested and sent to jail. He came out of jail a few days ago. Arju is an auto driver by profession.

The victim filed an application in the police station saying that Arju Mansoori suddenly entered her house with eight persons on the night of May 30 and started assaulting her. When she resisted, Arju pulled out a knife and tried to kill her. "The culprit said he would be friends with her or else he would kill her." She ran out of the house to save her life and started pleading for help from the people of the locality. Subsequently, the residents informed the local police station. The police then arrested Arju and took him along. The girl said that Arju always used to stalk her and put pressure on her friendship. The victim's father is earning his livelihood by running a small ration shop. Both the victim and her brother are still studying.

On the other hand, after receiving the news of this incident, there is anger among the people of the Hindu organization. Vikas Jaiswal of the organisation said that after receiving the news of the incident, they along with several people went to the victim's house. The victim lodged an application in the police station and lodged a case against the culprit. Arju Mansoori, who barged into the house of a minor girl in Saudagar Mohalla on Friday night and molested and stabbed her, is also a criminal in the murder of a girl in the past. Vishwa Hindu Parishad Bajrang Dal district minister Chhotu Verma said this in a release. He said that taking such an incident seriously, the state government needs to make a strict law on it.

Ramgarh SP Piyush Pandey said that all the criminals involved in the incident in January and yesterday have been sent to jail by the police taking immediate action. In this case too, the culprit has been sent to jail. BJP legislature party leader Babulal Marandi has tweeted in this matter. He has questioned who is giving protection to such persons. Even after many incidents, such people are not shying away from committing the crime again. There has been an unprecedented rise in such incidents across the state. He has accused the case of promoting the case as part of a conspiracy.
