Lucknow: On the statement given by Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Swami Prasad Maurya regarding the chaupai of Ramcharitmanas, the demonstration has now reached the streets. The protest against Swami Prasad Maurya has now grown. Swami Prasad had called those who do this as terrorists and executioners regarding the announcement of reward to those who cut his tongue. In protest against his statement, the workers of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha protested and shouted slogans at Govardhan Square in Mathura.

According to the received reports, the workers led by the national treasurer of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, Dinesh Sharma, demonstrated at Govardhan Square, raising slogans against Swami Prasad Maurya. After that, they also thrashed the effigy of Swami Prasad and demanded strict action against Maurya from Chief Minister Yogi. Dinesh Sharma has demanded Swami Prasad to be arrested and sent to jail. He said that a case has been registered against Swami Prasad Maurya at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow. Swami Prasad is continuously hurting the faith of Sanatans. Dinesh said that if Swami Prasad Maurya does not like living in India, then he should go to Pakistan and start speaking anything against Islam, then he will know what happens when he speaks against Islam.

Swami Chakrapani, national president of All India Hindu Mahasabha and Sant Mahasabha, has also targeted Swami Prasad Maurya over this controversy. He has also besieged Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav regarding this whole matter. Swami Chakrapani has said that Akhilesh Yadav has the tacit approval of Swami Prasad Maurya's anti-Hindu statement. He said that the Samajwadi Party not taking any action against Swami Prasad also shows the same. Condemning this, Swami Chakrapani said that the people of Uttar Pradesh will not forgive the Samajwadi Party for this.
