Lucknow: Not a mound mosque, it is a 'Laxman Tila', Hindu side's claim created a stir

After the arrest of Rishi Trivedi, hundreds of activists of the Hindu Mahasabha gheraoed the police station and demanded the immediate release of Dwivedi.

A senior police officer said, "Laxman Tila Mukti Sankalp Yatra has been banned. Security personnel were deployed on the roads leading to the mosque.'' The Hindu Mahasabha had announced to take out the Lakshman Tila Mukti Yatra from the 1090 intersection to different parts of the city.
