Narail: In Bangladesh's Narail district, mob vandalized several Hindu houses and attacked a Hindu temple. According to local media, violence broke out in Dighlia on Friday night in response to a Facebook post by a young Hindu boy.

According to the Dhaka Tribune, the crowd has several Hindu community homes as well as grocery stores. According to angry villagers, the boy hurt their religious sentiments with his social media posts.

the tension over the post escalated after Friday prayers and a mob of Muslims demonstrated outside their house in the afternoon. Later they attacked the houses. Additionally, the mob ransacked the Sahapara temple, ransacked several shops and destroyed interior furniture.

Inspector Naran Chandra Pal of Lohagarh police station claimed that the local tension has increased significantly due to this incident. According to Police Inspector Naran Chandra Pal, the police had to fire warning shots to disperse the crowd. Narail Superintendent of Police Prabir Kumar Roy said law enforcement was trying to maintain control over the situation. The incident is being investigated. The perpetrators of the violence will be held accountable.
