The Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) reported a decline in their quarter 2 profit rate as compared to the last year’s profit. 42.8 per cent loss on the previous profit rate was reported by the major infrastructure on Thursday.
The company in their statement said that despite the heavy monsoon condition and the adverse condition the company was able to do relatively good as compared to the first quarter of FY’17.
Also the company had many ongoing projects on the lands of Jammu & Kashmir that were held because of the bad condition and the attacks and national stress.
The turnover is at Rs. 911.1 crore compared to Rs. 982.4 crore, in the previous quarter," the statement said.
