Lahore: The nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped with great enthusiasm and pomp for nine days during Navratri across India. However, there are countless temples of Goddess in our country where crowds of devotees overflow, but goddess' 'Shakti Peeth' is also located in Pakistan. Where Shakti worship is specially organised for nine days of Navratri. Devotees from all over the country come here. 

It may be noted that Durga Mata has a total of 51 'Shakti Peeths' across the country. 42 of the 51 are in India and the remaining 1 is located in Tibet, 1 Sri Lanka, 2 Nepal, 4 in Bangladesh and 1 in Pakistan.  One of the 51 Shaktipeeths is present in Balochistan province where all sins destroyed. The temple is located in a natural cave at the foothills of the high mountains.  History mentions that this cave-temple located at the foothills of the picturesque hills is 2000 years old. There is no man's created, but a clay altar, where a small-sized rock is worshipped as a Hinglaj Mata.

It is a special event for shakti worship for nine days of Navratri. For which lakhs of Sindhi Hindu devotees from Sindh-Karachi come here to worship Goddess. One team from India also goes for darshan every year. However, this temple, located near the Hingol River in Balochistan, Pakistan, is the main centre of faith of Hindu devotees. But this power bench is cared for by people from the local Muslim community there.
