Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has removed the banners outside the Thackeray family's residence Matoshree, in which Aditya Thackeray was written to be the CM. It was written in these hoardings - Only Aditya Thackeray is the CM of Maharashtra. The incident of the removal of hoardings of Shiv Sena from outside Matoshree has come to the fore when there is a tussle between BJP and Shiv Sena for the post of CM in Maharashtra.

Shiv Sena is demanding 50-50 formula for the post of CM, while BJP says that Devendra Fadnavis will remain CM for the whole five years. At the same time, on Thursday, a meeting of the Shiv Sena Legislature Party was held in the midst of discussions with the BJP on the post of CM. In this meeting of Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde was made the leader of the legislative party in the assembly. Earlier there were speculations that Aditya Thackeray, who won the assembly elections from Worli, could be elected as the leader of the Legislative Party.

Earlier on Wednesday, a BJP meeting was held, in which CM Devendra Fadnavis was elected as the leader of the legislative party. Let me tell you that in Maharashtra, BJP and Shiv Sena fought the assembly elections in alliance. Together, the two parties won 161 seats. BJP won 105 seats, while Shiv Sena won 56 seats.
