New Delhi: Hockey India has announced the Indian team for the tour of Belgium. The team, led by captain Manpreet Singh, will be on the Belgium tour from 26 September to 3 October. Forward Lalit Upadhyay and drag-flicker Rupinder Pal Singh return to the 20-man squad.

The Indian team will play three matches against Belgium and two matches against Spain on a week-long tour. Lalit Upadhyay has returned to the team after playing the Men's World Cup in Bhubaneswar while Rupinder did not play in the Olympic Test event earlier this year.

Head coach Graham Reid said, "The Belgian team is strong and if we do well against them on their soil, the confidence of the team will increase significantly before the Olympic qualifiers against Russia." He said he expected a tough challenge from Spain.
