Hockey: Team India gives 25 thousand dollars to help the fire victims of Australia

The Hockey India team has contributed 25 thousand US dollars for the victims of the fire in Australia. Yes, the Indian hockey team has made this contribution on its behalf. Hockey India has also donated jerseys signed by the national team which will be put up for auction and proceeds will be given through the Red Cross to help those affected by the fire in Australia's forests. Hockey Australia sent a letter thanking Hockey India President Mohammad Mushtaq Ahmed.

Hockey Australia President Melanie Vussenam and Chief Executive Matt Favier said, "On behalf of the Board and Management of Hockey Australia, we thank you for helping in the fundraising efforts for Hockey Australia wildfire bushfire."

In this letter it was said, "We will also include Team India sign jersey in the auction process and there is no doubt that 25 thousand US dollars is a big help."
