Many cities in India have been facing troubles due to rain. There is a flood situation in Bihar while in Mumbai, people are facing problems in many places. Hockey player Yuvraj Valmiki, who was running out of the Indian team, faced a strange problem on Wednesday when heavy rains in Mumbai flooded his house.

Player Yuvraj shared a video on his Twitter handle, in this video, he is seen draining the water-filled from the drawing-room of his flat. The player has also sought assistance from Maharashtra's Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray along with Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation in this 28-second video. A red alert has been issued in Mumbai and its surrounding areas. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall on Thursday as well. The thirty-year-old Yuvraj was part of the Indian team that played in the 2014 World Cup in The Hague, Netherlands.

The strong rains in Navi Mumbai and surrounding areas have caused great damage to DY Patil Stadium. DY Patil Stadium has hosted other sporting events including the IPL match and the Under-17 FIFA World Cup. Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar said in a tweet, "One of the iconic stadiums, DY Patil Stadium took a bath due to heavy rains." Navi Mumbai's top police officer has also posted photos of the loss. A policeman from Nerul police station also said that the damage was due to rain and winds.
