LOS ANGELES: Noted Hollywood Actress  Anne Heche was not impaired by drugs at the time of her devastating car crash on August 5as pera report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.

However, tests did reveal that Heche, 53, had previously used both cocaine and cannabis, according to 'People' magazine.

She used cocaine in the past but not at the time of the crash, the Coroner's office revealed to 'People'. "The hospital admission blood showed the presence of benzoylecgonine, the inactive metabolite of cocaine.

Although they were "not detected in the admission blood and is consistent with prior usage, but not at the time of the accident," cannabinoids were discovered in her urine. Although the coroner's report stated that the fentanyl was "obtained after she got treatment at the hospital and is therefore consistent with therapeutic usage," toxicology nevertheless revealed that she had it in her system. According to the study, "This is substantiated by the lack of fentanyl in the blood specimen collected at admission to the hospital."

The report also claims that Heche suffered a "anoxic brain injury" as a result of her burns, which were so severe that they prevented her body from properly absorbing oxygen. She was ultimately murdered by this.

Heche reportedly collided into a Los Angeles property on August 5 while operating her Mini Cooper, reports by "People" magazine. It was later discovered through audio file records from the Los Angeles Fire Department that Heche was trapped in her car for around 45 minutes before being rescued. Both her car and the house caught fire.

According to the coroner's report, the actress was engaged in two minor collisions before slamming into the house at a speed of about 80 mph. The report states that there were no skid marks at the scene.

She was taken to the UCLA Ronald Ragan Hospital with third and second-degree burns and a cracked sternum before being taken to a burns-specific ICU at West Hills Hospital.
